'We turn clay to make a vessel, but it is on the space where there is nothing that the usefulness of the vessel depends.' Lao- Tsu

I have been thinking about the importance of the white space in this book - I was very careful to make the book into a pristine object before the exhibition, and once in the gallery space it seemed important to hold onto that. I am more interested in Japanese art and simplicity than the Modernist, reductivist approach.
Work on pages 5 and 6 - the last two! But there is still more I'd like to do to these 2 pages. I also plan to take another look at the other previous 4 pages over the next 10 days.

Work on pages 3 and 4 (which I might revisit...)
